Eight chapters full of love, desire, devotion, affection and drama. An unnamed young man and an unnamed young woman who pursue each other through fields and valleys lush with flowers.
One of its most famous lines (bearing in mind that The Song Of Songs is full of famous lines) is the one I chose to paint here, a line many jewish couples have on their lips on their wedding day under the Chuppah: “I am my Beloved’s, and my Beloved is mine”

“Chaval al ha‘Zman” literally means “waste of time”. But it can also mean “Awesome”, as it does here. It wouldn‘t make much sense to have a painting hanging on your wall, which says “waste of time”, wouldn‘t you agree? That‘s why = “Awesome!”
